 Key   Accountabilities

Key   Activities

1. Strategic   Planning 

· Develop Marketing  Unit strategy in line with Operations   Departmental strategy to support in the achievement of Departmental   objectives 

· Oversee all direct marketing initiatives – provide   strategy and direction for all traditional and non-traditional marketing   campaigns to increase sales leads

· Ensure implementation of Unit strategy and related   strategic plans in order to achieve agreed upon strategic goals and   objectives 

· Develop, and update Marketing Unit organization   structure –with compliance to relevant policies- to ensure meeting different   business needs and requirements 

2. Budgeting

· Prepare and recommend the Marketing Unit budget by   conducting analysis and preparing data related to specific elements as   directed

· Monitor financial performance versus budget and   report unanticipated costs or revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance,   as well as potential areas for cost reduction or performance improvement   opportunities to capitalize upon

3. Operations   Management

· Manage the daily operations of Marketing Unit to   ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established   policies and procedures

· Manage the preparation of timely and accurate   reports to meet company and Unit requirements, policies and standards

· Manage the execution and delivery of internal   project  by planning, organizing, overseeing   of various project activities to ensure meeting agreed project parameters   (cost budget, timelines, scope and   quality)

4. Corporate   Branding

· Conduct regular brand valuations through consumer,   market and financial information to capture brand’s performance

· Ensure long term brand objectives are kept in focus,   in terms of financial health, alignment with company’s vision and market   share objectives

· Design and propose programs that could raise the   customer satisfaction and loyalty, in order to better serve the company customer

5. Research   & Market Intelligence

· Conduct market research and intelligence, on both   the financial and real estate industries, in order to enable the creation of   innovative and targeted marketing campaigns

· Monitor and propose marketing programs and   activities based on seasonality, in order to capitalize on possible   opportunities

6. Marketing   Campaigns

· Develop innovative targeted collateral and produce   campaigns internally or with an external service provider, in order to enable   for a better product awareness

· Act as main point-of-contact for creative   development

· Work with Production team and corporate marketing   partners to track campaign performance and present information

· Assess results to determine effectiveness of   marketing initiatives and make appropriate changes in future strategies and   campaigns. 

· Report campaign results and return on investment   to senior management

7. Marketing   Initiatives

· Manage email marketing platforms, including   content for email templates

· Create and edit website content for the corporate   website and microsites

· Work with other senior leaders to create, track   and manage all commitments for all digital and direct initiatives

· Provide up-to-date content, based on changing   guidelines and new product launches. Integrate relevant content for the web,   based on other corporate initiatives, for a holistic client experience.

8. Digital   Media

· Suggest   opportunities for leveraging digital and social media opportunities (i.e. QR   codes, mobile) in advertising and/or collateral, and recommend best practices   where appropriate 

· Keep   abreast of developments in the area of Digital Media, in order to take   initiatives that could help strengthen the company market presence

9. People   Management

· Manage the activities and work of subordinates and   evaluate their performance by providing formal and informal feedback to   ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient   manner and in accordance with set individual targets

· Stimulate subordinates and manage the   identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems,   processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’,   improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity   improvement

10. Policies,   Processes & Procedures 

· Recommend improvements to Unit policies and direct   the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of Marketing   activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are   fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services

· Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality   and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the   section in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a   responsible environmental attitude

JOB SPECIFICATIONS 

Academic   and Professional Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing 

· MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from   a recognized business school preferred

Years of   Experience

· 8   – 10 years of relevant experience in Marketing 

· 4   years in positions of progressively increasing managerial   responsibilities 

Technical   Skills

· Expert   knowledge of advertising, collateral, direct mail tactics, email marketing,   all digital media including web site content and social media

· In-depth   understanding of financial services industry with emphasis on consumer   lending and mortgage products, regulations, legal and compliance 

· Expert   at using desktop publishing and web publishing software such as Adobe   Photoshop and Dreamweaver 

· Expert   ability with all computer tools to produce and track marketing collateral and   campaigns

· Fluency   in Arabic and English

· Excellent   oral and written communications skills Ability to articulate ideas to both   technical and non-technical audiences
