Job Overview

Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.

Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.

Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.

Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.

Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.

Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.

Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Plan, analyze and set strategies to fill the vacancies with the right talent on a timely and competitive basis from internal and external candidates.

Develop an annual manpower plan and budget to ensure right level of manpower requirements (numbers and skills) required for the Company to achieve its business objectives

Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.

Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.

Review and update the bank policies and procedures to achieve best practices and competitive employment.

Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

Review and undertake a structured approach in the Career Development program of the staff in the Company through promotion, transfer, and training and assessment programs/guidelines to achieve a motivating environment in the Company.

Undertake the review and implementation of a proper training assessment, plan and budget vis a vis the analysis of the skills and competency gap to further the Company’s competitiveness.

Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Analyze, improvise and manage the bank’s administrative matters to ensure sufficient and conducive work environment.
