4 JOB PURPOSE To manage credit risk, liquidity and market risk under the Risk Management framework, and to advise on risk appetite and profile at Bank level.

  6   JOB CONTEXT     Internal as well as external  
    7     COMMUNICATION &WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Regular meetings with Chief Risk Officer to consult on risk management issues and work progress.Ongoing contact with all internal business managers to obtain and exchange information on risk management.Externally maintain contacts with Central Bank, other regulators and professional bodies.Periodic contact with other banks to take lead in examining areas of common interest in risk management.

  9         FRAME WORK, BOUNDARIES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY   ( Works within the overall direction and guidelines set by the Chief Risk Officer.Job holder’s recommendations are major inputs for decision making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  10   QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Finance, banking studies or any relevant commercial disciplineMaster Degree would be an advantage.
11     EXPERIENCE   15 years banking experience of which at least 10 years in fairly senior position in Risk Management / Credit functionGood knowledge of Banking operations, Treasury products, risk profiles, statutory requirements, market conditions etc.
12   SKILLS   Good command of English .Arabic language would be an added advantage.Planning and organizing skillsStrong investigative and interpretive skillsAnalytical skillsPresentation skills
